Fantasy cricket platform Dream 11 has bagged the title sponsorship for IPL 2020 with a winning bid of INR 222 crore.Dream 11 beat Unacademy (INR 171 crore) and Byju’s (INR 201 crore) to clinch the deal which will run from August 18 to December 31, 2020.

Dream11 is owned by Harsh Jain, son of Anand Jain, close associate of Ambani. Tencent Holding Ltd is a financial backer of Dream11. Mumbai-based Dream11 Fantasy Pvt. Ltd has raised $100 million (Rs 719 crore) in a round of funding led by Tencent Holdings, China’s. Tencent Holdings have 10 per cent stakes in Dream11.
